Ntwala Island Lodge

Ntwala Island Lodge is in the eastern Caprivi Strip, and overlooks the Chobe River, and Chobe National Park. The Lodge is set on a cluster islands (linked by a system of floating walkways), in the Mambova rapids, where the Chobe converges with the Zambezi River, some 80 kilometres upstream from Victoria Falls.

This is a small and intimate Lodge, with only 4 suites – all luxuriously appointed. Each suite boasts a private plunge pool, and viewing deck, indoor and outdoor showers, and a private Sala.

Here you are assured of personalised service, exceptional cuisine, and quality guiding.

Activities at Ntwala are predominantly water borne and privately guided (each suite has its own boat, and guide)  – and you can enjoy river cruises, nature walks, and fishing (Tigerfish is a favourite), all at a time to suit your requirements, and interests. Thus you can meander the waterways, enjoy sunset cruises, or merely relax in the comfort of your suite.

With its proximity to Chobe National Park, you are assured of some excellent game viewing whilst on a river cruise – and the River is home to hippo and crocodile, whilst elephant, buffalo and numerous antelope come down to drink.
