Cape Cross Lodge

Cape Cross Lodge is situated on Namibia 's Skeleton Coast , only 4Km (2.4 miles) from the Cape Fur Seal colony.

Cape Cross Lodge offers 20 luxury double rooms, classically appointed with attention to detail, yet animate with a rustic charm that is bewitching. Views through the large windows are breathtaking, no matter the time of day or night.

The en-suite bathrooms are a statement of elegant simplicity, while the private balconies glow with the warmth of wooden deck chairs and tables, affording unrestricted sea views and an aura of complete respite.

Two of the bedrooms have been linked with a door to create a family suite when needed.

A large glass frontage, fire-burnt clay tiles, comfy chairs, the sheen of polished wood, the flickering warmth of fireplaces conspire to impart a classic simplicity to the lounge and dining areas. A fine a la carte menu is served to small groups, while a larger assembly is able to savour a sumptuous buffet.

The cocktail bar and private wine cellar provide a selection of exemplary wines and spirits.
The lodge caters lunch for day visitors and is the perfect rest spot for those travelling the Skeleton Coast or Damaraland region. Special requests can be met; included are honeymoon packages, formal  occasions, private beach dinners and picnic excursions into the surrounding desert or along the bay.

The Cape Cross Lodge can also facilitate small conference groups and private corporate functions.

Activities centre around the presence of the seals and visitors can self drive or join a guided tour to the colony.
