Manyeleti Game Reserve

This reserve, founded in 1963, shares open borders with the Kruger National Park, Sabi Sand, and Timbavati Reserves, and is some 228 square kilometres in extent. It managed by the local Mnisi Tribe, whose ancestral land this is, with the aim conserving the area, and encouraging tourism, which in turn will benefit the local communities.

Manyeleti means “Place of Stars” in the local Shangaan language a name which the Reserve lives up to on a clear winter’s night.
