Sabi Sand Wildtuin

Perhaps the best known of the Private Reserves, the Sabi Sand is home to a wide selection of accommodation, and experiences. Timbavati Private Nature Reserve

The second biggest of the Private Reserves making up the Greater Kruger area, the Timbavati is north of the Sabi Sands, and, although having fewer Lodges, still offers and excellent selection. You may wish to combine Lodges here with the Sabi Sand, or even Cape Town.

Thornybush Game Reserve

This may be a smaller Reserve, but is home to some exquisite properties. The Lodges also make for some excellent combinations with the Sabi Sands, Cape Town and the Garden Route.

Balule Game Reserve

An excellent option for self-drive enthusiasts, the Balule is easily accessible from Johannesburg or Nelspruit, and we recommend a visit to the famous Panorama route, as part of your itinerary.

Started in 1987, Kapama is now one of South Africa’s largest privately owned game reserves, well positioned in the Limpopo Province safari area - renowned for its high density of big game animals.
