Paradis Resort Hotel, Mauritius
Le Morne peninsula, the location of this premier resort, is possibly the most beautiful site on Mauritius.
Seven kilometres of beach ring the peninsula and the rooms have been built to get the benefit of sea views. The calm, clear reef-protected waters are ideal for every kind of water sport, and, close off-shore, is one of the most prolific marlin breeding grounds in the world. Morne is the location of the World Marlin Fishing Championships.
The hotel has 280 rooms and 13 villas, each
room has a mini bar, television with in-house video,
safe, telephone and all have hair-dryers. Air
conditioning is individually controlled.
Island-Safari have chosen Paradis for our Family programme, as the hotel has excellent facilities for children, including the 'Bob Marlin mini club', a specially constructed house, decorated for children, where qualified minders entertain the children in two groups; 3 - 6 and 7 - 12 years. The mini club is open from breakfast time until nine o'clock in the evening.
Paradis has a huge range of entertainment
and sports facilities which are free of charge. Sports
facilities include windsurfing, laser sailing craft,
waterskiing, snorkelling, squash, tennis and a sauna and
gymnasium complex. Additional paying facilities include
Scuba diving, deep sea fishing, and an 18-hole, par 72
international golf course, accredited and recognised by
the European PGA.
The hotel has four restaurants; Paradis Restaurant serving Buffet menus, the Blue Marlin, built right on the edge of the sea, offering an 'a la carte' menu. La Palm specialising in Italian cuisine and La Ravanne specialising in seafood grills and Mauritian specialities.
A Casino, resident band, sega shows and changing nightly entertainment ensure that you never have a dull moment.
