"My husband and I were very pleased with using Island Safari for our trip to Botswana in August.  Mandy was extremely helpful throughout the pre booking, the actual trip, and through to the final payment.  Even when there were problems, the company was able to rectify them quickly and with little fuss, e.g. helping with a change of flights and accommodation change at Vic Falls.  The company aimed to please us and accommodate all of our requests.  We will recommend the company to others!
Both Oddballs and Pom Pom were excellent camps.  Oddballs had fantastic hosts and we felt right at home (pass on our sorrows to Jack for SA losing the rugby today), where as Pom Pom was nice for it's luxurious accommodation.  We definitely thought we had the best of both worlds!!!
Please pass on our thanks to Mandy and the team.  It was a trip of a life time and we are thrilled with what everyone did for us.

"I am really satisfied of the tour we made. The assistance from your staff was always excellent.
In particular, I was very happy of the fast reaction from your staff (Elize) to help me during the arriving in johannesburg. my flight was cancelled and Elize managed to organized everything in a very short time and in a very busy period (saturday in a peak season...) I would like to thank Elize for her assistance. I was really very good impressed how she made everything.
We had a good time with bushways, I had the impression of a serious small company. The guides are very kind and professional. The cooking was excellent much better than in the zambesi sun I must say.
the only problem was that in the moremi game reserve there not so many pubs, but I cannot ask for impossible things
I spent many good words back at home, that was my first time I organized a travel in internet and it requires a very good organization from your side I guess.

Chiefs and Stanleys Camps were superb and a marvelous experience for myself and my son. Flights worked out well with no glitches. Guide at Chiefs was Comic and he was very good as was the guide at Stanleys Ismail.

"We had a great time during our Island Safari.
We stayed at Oddballs and went on mekoro safari safari from Oddballs for
three nights.  This was just great.  Bonty was relieving as manager at
Oddballs and was great.
The next lodge we stayed at was Kwara, where the service was just out of the
world, with KB, Jona and Anita as managers and they did an amazing job.
Mandy handled our booking and she was simply the best!  Mandy's suggestions
and knowledge was of immense value and she provided excellent service in
putting the package together.  I can only praise her very professional
manner. 
At Odballs the guide was Jibi, a man who clearly understands the bush and
was very good.  Having two women from the city in the bush with lions proved
to be a bit stressful for him and I am sure he did not think we could cope
(no knowing that I have done this before and then some).  Jibi was great.
At Kwara we had Jacob as a guide and he was both and excellent guide and a
great host.  Jacob's knowledge was amazing, both of the Botswana bush,
including animals, plants and birds as well as the southern sky (stars etc)
and of Botswana in general.  It was a real priviledge to have him as a
guide.
The trip was great, including the organisation, the actual trip (both
roughing it and being indulged at Kwara).  This was my third trip into the
Okavango Delta, but the first organized via island safari and I will use
island safari again and again..

"Well, what can we say, it was one of the most wonderful trips of our life!!!  It seemed very expensive as we were paying for it, but when we arrived and realized what it took to operate the camps in such remote areas, etc. it made  all the expense seem worthwhile.  All the arrangements worked seemlessly - we were met by friendly people starting with Rob in Joburg right up to our departure.  We particularily LOVED Delta Camp - had no idea that we would really be walking among the aminals without firearms, but our extraordinary guide "X" was great and the two young people who ran the camp, Jos and Robb, were just the best.  The other two camps were also impressive  - no complaints, but Delta did spoil us. It was such a caring and intimate setting.  All in all, a most memorable trip. We consider it one of those life altering experiences - one will never think of Africa quite the same way again.  Please extend my sincere thanks to Mandy for all her patient advice and help.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our Island Safari experience.  Our guide for the bush camping, GB was great and we saw a wide variety of animals as well as saw beautiful scenery from our camp sites and the mokoro.  We managed to cook some lovely meals in the bush.
Dean and Patricia were just lovely hosts at Oddballs Camp also.  The tents there were lovely and the food and atmosphere lovely.
The flights in and out of the Delta were fun!  Pilots good and made us feel at ease.
We would love to come back to Botswana and spend more time one day.
