Two overnights at Xakanaxa Fly Camp in a standard twin tent with basic en-suite facilities inclusive of all meals, and morning and afternoon game-viewing activities
The Moremi Game Reserve is regularly referred to as one of the most beautiful wildlife areas in Africa, and the Xakanaxa region adds a unique diversity, as it is has magnificent forested areas, but also borders the fabled Okavango Delta.
The Xakanaxa area allows for game viewing both by vehicle, and boat. Visitors thus get the chance to see numerous antelope species, lion, wild dog and leopard, along with an excellent diversity of birds.
Camping has long been a popular way of enjoying visits to remote areas, and guests are now offered the chance of enjoying excellent, value for money arrangements with local guides and staff, in campsites which have been allocated for sole use of local companies. Each site is thus isolated, and gives visitors a true feeling of being in the bush. As the number of sites (and occupants) is also very limited, you can enjoy a truly unique experience
You enjoy a traditional tented safari with guide, cook and camp staff to take care of you. With a maximum of 6 tents for each Fly Camp, you are also guaranteed of personalised attention at all times. In order to fully appreciate the area, and to have a relaxed stay, a minimum of 2 nights is required at the Camp.
Guests are accommodated in large dome tents, with en suite shower (with hot water), basin and long-drop toilet. The Tents themselves have twin beds with linen, side table, and lamps. You enjoy three meals a day, lovingly prepared by the camp cook.
Game activities (which can last up to 4 hours) are generally conducted in the early morning and late afternoon, thus allowing for time to relax in camp, during the hottest part of the day. The Camp is accessed by a light aircraft flight to the nearest airstrip, where you are met by your guide, for the game drive to Camp.
Your camping experience is also easily combined with a visit to any of Botswana's Lodges or Camps.

Situated about 30kms upstream from Victoria Falls on the Zambian side of the Zambezi, Chundukwa have created unique tree houses, which blend naturally with the Waterberry trees that adorn the riverbanks. Each Tree house is complete with private facilities including shower and flush toilet and breathtaking views of the Zambezi River, Chundu island opposite and the Zambezi National park across the River. The Lodge is in a game area and sightings of hippo, elephant and other game are a common occurrence.
Accommodation is simple and rustic, but comfortable - Chundukwa does not try to be a luxury lodge.
A stay at Chundukwa tree Lodge is the best way to discover Victoria Falls, its wildlife and adventures. We recommend that two to three nights are spent in camp during which time canoe trips, horse trails, walks, visits to the Victoria Falls, visits to our local market and local park can be taken. For the adventurous it is possible to do white water rafting on the lower Zambezi (rated the best in the world), bungi jumps off the Victoria Falls bridge, microlight or helicopter "flights of angels" over the Falls and elephant- back safaris into the bush.
